There are exactly 2 acceptable ways to eat little smokies according to modern convention; with a tooth pick & bbq sauce, or by wrapping the pig in a blanket. At a recent Christmas party, I was fed up with tooth picks and modern convention (and I was the one who brought the little smokies). It was there that lightning struck in the most bunderful way. I asked out loud, "Why doesn't someone make little hot dog buns for little smokies?" Everyone laughed at the half-baked idea. But then I thought, "wait, why doesn't someone make tiny hot dog buns?" And that's how a this smoky, little bundle of joy was born!
